We drove from San Savador to Los Cobanos for a few days break, chilling by a pool in a villa which was great.

Of course we had plenty of time to take some pictures of the wonderful sunsets by the beach.

It’s not a black sand beach but there are rock reefs and rock pools alongside it.

I loved this tree growing through the side of the wall above.

We also visited a beach nearby which was primarily a local fishing beach.

You can take a whale spotting tour from this beach to watch the Humpback Whales that are seen along this stretch of the coast.

We spotted a group of three whales, two adults and one juvenile.

The most amazing thing was we also heard the whales communicating under the water. Something i have heard on TV but never from a boat at sea.

A fabulous trip and another amazing memory!
