Bur Dubai

In a city of this size, its always interesting to break out of the modern areas, filled with sky scrapers, highways, beaches and hotels to revealing part of the historic culture of a city that can often seem too commercial at times.

We would highly recommend heading to Bur Dubai (old Dubai) to get a different perspective of this complex and sometimes overwhelming city.

Five Palms Hotel

We stayed at the Five Palms Hotel in Dubai, its situated at the base of the Palm outstretch of land, close enough to the Marina area, based around the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). Its certainly a beautiful and luxurious hotel, with facilities and prices to match 😉
