Nyanga is a scenic highland region in northeastern Nyanga is a scenic highland region in northeastern Zimbabwe.
It borders Mozambique and sits within the Eastern Highlands, known for cool temperatures, rolling green hills, waterfalls, and dramatic mountain views.

We took a drive into the Nyanga National Park but unfortunately our car was not up to the job and had to leave.

We did get to see some of the ancient stone pit structures there, said to have been built between 1300 and 1700 AD.

Our hotel below set in Troutbeck, complete with a golf course and trout rivers, we even had electric blankets on the beds.

Next we plan a 6 hour drive to visit Great Zimbabwe, an ancient city.
