
Rwanda is an country full of wonder and to some extent historical horror at the same time.
It’s people and landscape are outstanding and Lake Kivu is a great place to see this.

But to truly understand this country, you need to lean into its uncomfortable history and the capital, Kigali, is where this can be better understood.

With some time in Kenya and now Rwanda, we are starting to see the complexity and contradictions that sit in East Africa.
It’s early days but the more we see the more this continent is starting to get under our skin!
Tomorrow we fly to Uganda to continue our journey through Africa, I can’t wait!
