Just under two years ago my wife and I started to make plans to radically change our lives. We both had good,but demanding jobs, a lovely home, wonderful friends and family, but we wanted to find new adventures, new challenges.

So this year we started to put our plans into action resulting in Jacqui and I selling our home, leaving our jobs, selling our car and planning what we hope will be the first of a number of ‘big trips’ to see parts of the world we have not visited before.

So today (11th October 2018) we start our first journey, a 5 1/2 month trip to UAE (Dubai), India, Sri Lanka and Thailand, returning home on 31st March 2019!! This blog will document this trip in words and photo’s. More to come soon…
