Looking north across Lima’s coastal area

Lima, with a population of around nine million people, is Peru’s capital city, set on the coast. It’s a vibrant, colourful and enticing city.

Lima’s old town has grand old buildings standing within a rather run down setting but it’s costal districts of Barranco and Miraflores lit up with street art, tourists, residential flats, fine restaurants and bars, a city of contrasts in that sense.
